• Food and beverage labels and packaging must meet FDA requirements for incidental, non-direct contact with food, regardless of how the product is stored.

• Be sure and consider how your beverage labels will be applied, what your container is made of, as well as how your product will be transported, offered in the retail setting, and how it will be stored once it is in the consumer’s home.  Products that will be stored in cold temperatures (especially if they are frozen) will require special attention.  If you have questions, please ask we'll be happy to find the right custom label for your needs.

• Include clear directions for proper use and storage of your product. As well as ingredient contents and nutritional information.

• If you will be offering your product in the retail market you’ll probably need a UPC code.  These can be obtained for a small fee from the Uniform Product Code Council.  Once you have received your code numbers Target Labels & Packaging can generate the bar code graphic and add it too your beverage labels.
